Guide to Access Keys
Audio Interface Access Keys
Some of these differ from the Access Keys that YouTube® uses.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| ◀ | Seek the audio back five seconds. |
| ▶ | Seek the audio forward five seconds. |
| J | Seek the audio back ten seconds. |
| K | Toggle the Play / Pause Button. |
| L | Seek the audio forward ten seconds. |
| 7 | Seek the audio back one minute. |
| 9 | Seek the audio forward one minute. |
| R | Seek the audio to beginning. |
| Z | Toggle the loop mode for the current audio. |
| M | Toggle the speaker between muted or un-muted. |
| ▲ | Increase the speaker volume. |
| ▼ | Decrease the speaker volume. |
| D | Download current audio. |
| 4 | Add to Shopping Cart (if applicable). |
When there is one or more playlist associated with the audio interface there are some additional Access Keys:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Switch to previous audio in playlist. |
| 2 | Change keyboard focus to playlist select menu. |
| 3 | Switch to next audio in playlist. |
When the audio loaded in the audio interface has chapters, there are some additional Access Keys:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| < | Move to beginning of chapter, unless within first seven seconds. Then it moves to beginning of previous chapter. |
| > | Move to beginning of next chapter. |
| Q | Open chapter select list. Keyboard focus is given to the item that corresponds with the current chapter. |
Not yet implemented. When the audio loaded in the audio interface has captions or subtitles, there are some additional Access Keys:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| C | If only one caption track is present, it will toggle it on or off. If more than one is present, it will open a menu allowing you to select which caption track you want. |
| S | If only one subtitle track is present, it will toggle it on or off. If more than one is present, it will open a menu allowing you to select which subtitle track you want. |
Chapter / Caption / Subtitle Menus
All three of these menus work the same way with the same access keys. Note that caption and subtitle menus are not yet implemented.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| ▲ or ◀ | Give focus to the previous item in the list, unless the first item has focus. Then it gives focus to the last item in the list. |
| ▼ or ▶ | Give focus to the next item in the list, unless the last item has focus. Then it gives focus to the first item in the list. |
